Lower Zambezi National Park, a true gem
Declared a National Park in 1983, the Lower Zambezi National Park is continuously recognised as one of the best parks in Africa – both for its incredible, untouched beauty, and the camps that blend in harmoniously with the area.
On the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia you’ll find the Anabezi Camp, large luxurious tents positioned on raised wooden decks make for a truly comfortable and mesmerising experience. 3 km away is the rustic and charming Amanzi Camp with 4 traditional and comfortable safari tents. There’s also a family unit. Sausage Tree Camp is the epitome of bush chic, set in a stunning location along the Zambezi River Accommodation is in
5 luxurious suites. 'Kigelia House' is the perfect choice for small groups or families.
The sister camp, Potato Bush Camp has a panoramic view overlooking the Zambezi River and is comprised of 3 well-appointed Safari Tents and also a 2-bedroom Family Tent.

Ultimate Zambia and Lake Malawi
Day 1-3
Arrive Livingstone International Airport in Zambia where you are met for the transfer to the Islands of Siankaba. You can head to the Victoria Falls, go for a boat cruise on the Zambezi or white water rafting, a swim in the Devil’s Pools (both seasonal activities), canoeing, a visit to the nearby local village, fishing or lunch on a private island.
Days 4-6
Today fly to Royal Airstrip (via Lusaka) and onto Chongwe River Camp. Activities are varied with the choice between fishing, walking, day and night drives or for the more adventurous a canoe trip along one of the many channels off the Zambezi frequented by hippo and elephant.
Days 7-11
Fly to Mfuwe for the South Luangwa NP, the premier wildlife area of Zambia. The Norman Carr Safaris camps are situated in the heart of the National Park and offer walking and 4x4 safaris. Their guides are some of the most knowledgeable in Africa.
Days 12-15
Today you will fly via Lilongwe onto Likoma Island in the midst of the crystal clear waters of Lake Malawi, and Kaya Mawa. Lake Malawi is home to a wide variety of aquatic life - the clear waters around Likoma Island are excellent for diving and snorkelling. The Island itself has plenty of treats in store and you are free to explore on foot, by bicycle or on quad bikes.
