Okonjima, in the Omboroko Mountains in the Waterberg Plateau, is home to The AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to long-term conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, especially cheetahs and leopards. A visit to Okonjima will give you an opportunity to witness some of AfriCat's work. Plains Camp is the original family homestead and Bush Camp, their luxury lodge. They also have The Villa and The Bush Suite, luxury units ideal for families or large groups, complete with their own chef, host and game- viewing vehicle. Other activities at the lodge include game drives, bush walks and guided Bushman trails. Okonjima is conveniently located between Windhoek and Etosha National Park.

Bagatelle Ranch lies on the edge of the Southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub savanna,
35 km north-east of Mariental, characterized by huge red dunes. It is an ideal stopover between Windhoek (270 km) and Southern Namibia.
There are four wooden chalets built atop a sand dune, six ‘hay bale’ chalets and four garden rooms. All rooms are en-suite. The property also has a swimming pool, viewing platform, offers nature drives and walks and has a small cheetah sanctuary.

Highlights are drives to the canyon edge or scenic flights over the canyon.
