MADAGASCAR AND MAYOTTE
NOSY ANKAO > MADAGASCAR
Time + Tide Miavana
Luxurious - Romantic - Private Island
A genuinely remote island sanctuary in the Indian Ocean, off the north coast of Madagascar, Miavana offers a luxury castaway experience for adventurous travellers, and brings a new level of luxury to Madagascar. Dotted along the pristine beach
are stunning 'designer' one, two and three bedroom villas, with ocean views and direct beach access from every villa. From your villa, explore the island using the complimentary bicycles or electric buggy. Despite the remoteness of the destination Miavana’s culinary team create lovely meals using the finest local ingredients -
dine under the stars, in the privacy of your villa, right on the beach or in the 'grotto'. Browse the wine cellar or savour your drink at the beachfront bar, rooftop terrace
or beach bonfire.
From November to April/May, the days are warm with light rains (mainly overnight), making it best for diving, fishing, snorkelling and spotting sea turtles. May to October has cooler days with seasonal winds, making it perfect for intrepid guests who want to see whales, terns, or go kite/windsurfing. Helicopter excursions are available to the incredible national parks of northern Madagascar, and you can see Madagascar's world-famous lemurs on forest walks on neighbouring islands. Also available are scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skis, stand-up paddle-boards, fly fishing and deep sea fishing (seasonal).
Access is by helicopter from Nosy Be or Diego Suarez, which can be accessed from South Africa, Kenya, Réunion, Mayotte, Ethiopia. Or via the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo, which can also be reached from Europe, Africa and additionally Mauritius

TSARABANJINA > MADAGASCAR
Constance Tsarabanjina
Elegant - Romantic - Private Island
A remote and sacred island resort off the north west coast of Madagascar, about 40 miles from the island of Nosy Be. We occasionally believe that clichés are the best way to accurately describe a place - barefoot luxury, virgin white sand beaches, turquoise water, lush vegetation, Robinson Crusoe chic - they all apply here! The comfortable villas all have a thatched roof, private terrace and seaview. Twelve villas have their bed area air-conditioned and thirteen villas are completely air-conditioned. They are built on two beaches, North and South. The Restaurant serves buffet for breakfast and lunch, and a 3-course dinner.
The cuisine consists mainly of freshly caught seafood. The Bar, facing the lagoon, has a floor of sand and is an ideal spot to watch the sunset while enjoying a cocktail.
25 Villas
Tsarabanjina offers plenty of activities, some of which are included in the price. These include snorkelling, kayaking, volleyball, pétanque, guided walks, aquagym and beach tennis. For an additional fee there is Scuba Diving, for beginners or qualified divers, with PADI courses on offer. Fishing, birdwatching and boat trips to nearby isalnds are also available. This is an authentic island hideaway, aimed at those travellers who are searching for a laid-back and understated experience, with a lack of pretension - luxury can take many forms!
