 BOTSWANA
BOTSWANA
Full Service Tented Mobile Safari and Victoria Falls
Botswana (en-suite Dome Tented Safari) - Eastern Caprivi, Namibia - Victoria Falls
A genuine mobile safari for those looking for a more adventurous experience. Maximum group size is 9 and accommodation is in comfortable dome tents, with en-suite ‘bathroom’. There is no participation required in camp chores as this is a full service safari. This outstanding mobile safari gives you an opportunity to gain an insight into areas and wildlife not necessarily available on a typical fly-in safari.
 Day 1
Flight from the UK to Johannesburg.
Days 2-4
Connect with an onward flight to Maun, and your onward charter flight to the Moremi Game Reserve where you will be met by your guide. Explore the Xakanaxa region and the surrounding wilderness on morning and afternoon game drive excursions. Moremi lies on the eastern extremity of the Okavango Delta. Habitats here range from wide-open floodplains, marshes, lagoons, papyrus fringed channels, vast stands of Miscanthus and Phragmites, woodland and savannah. As a result of the extremely variable habitat the diversity of both wildlife and birdlife is excellent.
Days 5-7
Take a slow drive through Moremi Game Reserve north-east towards the Khwai Community Area, one of the most scenic areas of the Okavango. The Khwai River forms a boundary between the reserve and the community area. Camp at an exclusive campsite in the community area, exploring the Khwai floodplains on game drives both during the day and at night. You will have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness on foot and enjoy an up close and personal encounter with Botswana’s flora and fauna. Truly one of Botswana birding Mecca’s.
Days 7-8
Back to Khwai Airstrip in time for your onward flight to Kasane, and Chobe Savanna Lodge for 2 nights. The lodge overlooks vast floodplains, with varied activities available, and is the perfect way to end your tented safari adventure - and do some laundry!
Days 9-10
Road transfer today to Victoria Falls for a 2 night stay in Zimbabwe , one of the Natural Wonders of the World.
Day 11
Return flight to the UK.

Some FAQs:
Any extras I need to take along?
Do not leave home without a head torch, binoculars and a good attitude (the most important item). This will help you deal with the many trials and tribulations that travel in Africa can throw your way.
Is it safe in my tent?
Yes, so long as you follow the safety instructions from your guide.
What is the minimum and maximum age accepted on safari?
The minimum age is 12 years (unless a private safari), there is no maximum age but a basic level of mobility and fitness is required.
Can I use my mobile phone or access internet whilst on safari?
No, but this is one of the pleasures of an authentic safari, the only sounds you hear are the sounds of Africa.
Should I bring any money with me?
Not necessary, the mobile safari is fully inclusive, unless you wish to leave a tip for your guide and crew.
Is laundry available whilst on safari?
The camp crew will do laundry upon request on full days in camp.
