SOUTH AFRICA
SABI SAND GAME RESERVE > KRUGER NATIONAL PARK > SOUTH AFRICA
Sabi Sabi
Sophisticated - Luxurious - Game Lodge
Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve borders the unfenced western edge of the Kruger National Park, and is part of the renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, home to spectacular wildlife including the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant - as well as cheetah, wild dog and some
200 other animal species indigenous to the area.
Sabi Sabi offers four completely separate lodges, each with a very distinct character and atmosphere, and nearly all the suites have a private viewing area.
Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is sculpted into the earth, making it almost invisible in the surrounding landscape. There is an underground cellar, a secluded library, an art gallery, an Amani Spa and even a meditation garden. The 13 suites are innovative in design, totally different from traditional bush lodges, featuring bold wooden sculptures as well as individually designed furnishings,
each opening out to wide patios and private plunge pools.
Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge features two thatched viewing decks and two swimming pools, all overlooking a waterhole and the plains beyond. The ethnic artwork and heavy carved furniture is also prevalent in the cosy lounge area as well as the wine cellar and the wellness centre. The 25 thatched suites are very spacious and are decorated in a stylish ethnic theme, which merges well with the surrounding bushveld.
Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp is tucked under the shade of indigenous riverine trees on the banks of the Msuthlu River and has been designed to accommodate families, friends, or small groups on an exclusive use basis. The 6 thatched luxury suites are all filled with contemporary African décor, genuine artifacts, wooden finishes and creative colours. There is a secluded swimming pool, which is reached by crossing the river on a wooden bridge.
Sabi Sabi Selati Camp exudes a Colonial 'Out of Africa' style. The 8 thatched suites are privately set under shady indigenous trees, each with an outdoor shower. Relax beside the pool,
which overlooks the Msuthlu
riverbed and enjoy the tranquility of the camp.
